The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce’s annual Car-B-Que is Saturday, June 2 and begins with a parade of Classic Cars. The parade will begin at WalMart and continue along Ford Street to the Visitor’s Center. Each year the Chamber kicks off summer with a show of fabulous cars displayed along the waterfront in front of the City Marina. To enter your car in our car show and parade, please call the Chamber office at 315-393-3620. Registration for cars begins at 10:00 am at WalMart Parking lot.
Admission is free to the Car-B-Que. All cars will be displayed on the grass in front of the City Marina. We have many Craft vendors who will be set up on the sidewalk, and of course we’ll be right across the street from the Ogdensburg Green Market. We’ll have an old fashioned Ice Cream Truck, burgers and dogs, sausage and peppers. At 2 PM the judging begins with a unique authentic Piston Trophy going to the Best of Show, People’s Choice, Ladies Choice and President’s Choice winners, plus twenty other trophies in categories such as Best Street Rod, Best Flames, Best 50’s Car, Best Classic, etc. If you would like to be participant as a vendor or enter your car in the Car-B-Que, please call Sandy Porter at the Chamber office at 393-3620.
